Paying Respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother
On Saturday, December 13, 2025 – Mrs. Narintrach Seekaewnamsai, Provincial Education Officer of Samut Prakan, and Ms. Jetsumon Sumayteepradit, Deputy Provincial Education Officer, The Thailand Ministry of Education, joined the royal Buddhist funeral rites for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. They attended alongside officials from the Thailand Ministry of Education and their delegation.
The ceremony took place at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace. Representing the Ministry of Education, the group participated in the evening chanting ritual from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, as part of the official schedule for senior ministry leaders.
Mom Chao Srisawangwong Yugala presided over the ceremony in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. He led attendees in offering prayers and paying final respects, honoring Her Majesty’s legacy of compassion, service, and devotion to the nation.
